Ensimmäisen puoliajan lopussa Gatesheadin Scott Barrow törmäsi oman maalivahtinsa kanssa tuhoisin seurauksin. Barrow menetti törmäyksessä tajuntansa ja häntä hoidettiin kentällä 15 minuutin ajan. Barrow’lle asetettiin niskatuki ja hänelle annettiin lisähappea.

Ambulanssi ajettiin aivan kentän viereen ja Barrow kannettiin kyytiin. 29-vuotias puolustaja oli tajuton vielä siinäkin vaiheessa, kun häntä kiidätettiin sairaalaan. Sairaalassa Barrow palasi tajuihinsa seuran twiitin mukaan.
